Daily Origami RSS

DailyOragami started two years ago when Lee Horen gave Paul Wolpe an origami book for his birthday. Paul got pretty excited about the book and even made a couple of pieces of oragami last year with Jessica Chait. Unfortunately, the momentum quickly faded and the magic of origami went missing from our lives. Then, in the middle of June 2008 the idea for DailyOragami.com was born.

Every day a group of contributors would make some oragami and post the photos online. We would all get better together, and the shame and humiliation of missing too many posts would keep us motivated. Quickly with Fil Fortes’ help we registered DailyOragami.com and setup a blog. Unfortunately, Paul can’t spell and he spelled origami wrong in the domain name. Luckily, we were able to get DailyOrigami.com as well. Phew.

Now the only thing better than looking at origami is making origami, so send us an email when you are ready to start posting to DailyOrigami.com!
